No, not the bathroom cleaning type of Bleach. I thought it was about time i blogged about another anime that i enjoy.

Bleach is about a  Japanese school boy called ichigo that has the gift to see ghosts (hold on, it gets better). One night a stranger appears in his room, this stranger is supriesed that Ichigo can see her,  this stranger is the shinígami Rukia Kuchiki. During the twos following conversation a Hollow appears (an evil spirt) and Rukia and Ichigo go and confront the spirt, who is trying to kill Ichigos family. In the battle Rukia saves Ichigos life by jumping infront of an attach aimed at Ichigo. Rukia is badly hurt, and decides that the only way to beat the hollow is to transfer some of her shinígami (death god) powers to Ichigo. This unlocks a series of events currently covering 168 episodes and 315 manga chapters.

This is a very entertaining anime, great style of drawing, packed with action, humor and a little romance.

Not really related to anything else previously written about on this blog, but i think i will start blogging about any good anime series that i’ve been watching, or any recormmended films that i have seen.

The first anime i’d like to mention is the series of “samurai Champloo”, this is an anime about three travelers looking for a samurai that smells sunflowers. The three travelers consist of Jin, a classicly trained and deadly samurai. Mugen, a bit of a smartass, but very strong and skilled fighter. Last is Fuu, At only 15 she is the youngest, but she has a strong will, and will never stop in her search for the samurai that smells like sunflowers.

I have watched all 26 episode before and would recormmend the series to all those who enjoy anime with lots of action and the usual humour that you find in most animes.

The offical Austrailan website for the Samurai Champloo series has loads of info on the anime, and you can buy the english dubbed box set of all 26 episodes from Ebay for about £20.
