I have covered flash games before on here, but that was many moons ago and a lot has changed since then (or at least there are loads more new games on the net worth a mention).

This is the only level and Achievement unlocked are two flash games from Armor Games that will frustrate and annoy you, but you still play until the end because they turn out to be brilliantly addictive. Well worth a play, and should only take about 10 mins each.

Crush the castle is another Armor games classic that you might have played before. This version is the new levels pack and come crammed with a new layout and even harder castles to topple over.

Gravitee 2 is a great planet golf game that gets you hooked trying to get the perfect shot. With loads of extra goals and awards you could be playing this one for weeks to get it 100% (I’ve still not managed all platinum).

Frantic 2 is a 2D shooter that will have you reminiscing back to the old arcade days of gaming. With loads of options and quite a few awards to unlock it well worth spending some time trying to crack this mad scrolling space shooter.

Reading this travel blog post about the irony of “right on” newspapers who continue to promote cheap flights whilst turning a blind eye to the contibution to climate change led me to drop a few thoughts here as I have been guilty of globe trotting and stamping my carbon footprint.
My life is no less fulfilled now. Watching leopards, cheetahs etc was enjoyable but no more so than watching seals off the Isle of Man. The “travel broadens the mind” is just a convenient excuse. I can see that helping land mines victims in Rwanda or victims of climate change suffering Kenya drought conditions as a friend of mine did , might do that but don’t lets kid ourselves that the majority of tourist travel is anything more than hedonism .
Sadly many are engaged in a positive orgy of cheap flights, global and short haul travel is now expected, and don’t give a damn about the effects on their offspring’s “too short” lives.
Since most air travellers are in search of sun, global warming will allow these people to stay at home instead.
Global warming therefore means less air travel. Simple.
