…with other geeks, watching youTube, finding out stuff, playing games and getting ’social’ are just some of the things you can do with a bit of broadband. Much better than a 56k modem, simply because of the increased use of media on the web these days. Static web pages are pretty much a thing of the past (about 1998, to be precise), streaming audio and video are now the order of the day, therefore a no nonsense broadband connection is necessary. If you rummage around you might be able to find a deal that gets you cheap telephone calls, and maybe even the Men and Motors channel on the box.

Please remember: without broadband, World of Warcraft would end, leading to some people wondering why they don’t wield a sword and ride a white unicorn anymore. A bit like when the Cat from Red Dwarf realises that he’s actually Dwayne Dibley. We don’t want to put them through that ordeal, do we?
