I have found a very cool video of a Bugatti Veyron’s W16 engine being assembled.

Enjoy.

Dyson spare parts at Dyson.co.uk

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

Well, as i blogged a while ago now i bought a Dyson vacuum cleaner after wanting one for ages. Though its been great over the last year or so the small U bend at the back of it broke the other day after an accent involing speed hoovering and a door frame. oops.

So i have a search around the net to see if there are any spares for the vacuum to save me having to fork out for a new one. After a short search i find that the Dyson.co.uk site has a large vacuum cleaner spares section, and the U bend i need is £3.25.

I don’t see why everyone on the net has a go at Dysons, mines been fine up to me braking it, and there are really cheap spares for sale direct from Dyson. What more could you want??

Public transport.

Monday, March 10th, 2008

Well, this morning i looked out my window and saw rain and wind, so thought i’d walk instead of cycle like normaly do.

I left my house at 8.23 and walked down the road and came to the nearest bus stop to my house and ask the woman waiting when the next bus was (there was no sign). The woman said 8.20 was when it was supposed to arrive, but still hadn’t, so i though instead of walking for 30-40 mins i’d wait for the bus and use public transport for the first time in years.

So i stand and wait, making small talk with the two ladies that are waiting too, and listen to my ipod. After waiting for about 15 mins the bus turned up and we all got on. Now the time is about 8.38 and i’ve only just got on the bus.

The bus route takes us through and round the houses picking up people what seems to be every 5 yards. we finally get to town at 9.00 making me late already, and making the trip into work take me 37 mins. Compare that to me cycling in which takes me about 10-15 mins, and even walking with takes about 35 mins.

No wonder i haven’t taken a bus into town for years.

I don’t see how the government are going to get people to use the busses in smaller cities if the service is so very bad. And it works out to be cheaper and faster for me to walk into work, then spend £1.35 to be late to work.

Well, that was my rant for today. Back to work i guess, to try and make up for the 5 mins i was late in this morning…
