Driving instructors

Tuesday, July 24th, 2007

About a year ago i was in the situation where i had to retake my driving test (due to having my lisence taken away :( ), and someone i work with (who used to be a driving instructor) suggested one of his mates who had his own business. Now, after having had two privous instructors the first time i learnt to drive (both of which were old smelly men) i wasn’t looking forward to learning again.

As it turns out Ryan was a really nice friendly guy, and was really easy to get along with, and learn with too.

Now, i’m not just randomly rambling on about the “good old days” lol, i mention this because Ryan has now setup his own website Roadmasters driving school, with prices, contact info and loads more. I stopped the site on my friend Jasons blog .

If you are about to start driving lessons, or are bored of your current instructor and your in the Exeter area, give Ryan a try, you wont regret it.

Cheers

having a poo…

Thursday, July 5th, 2007

Hello all,

just thought I’d share a fun little blog that i stumbled apon through one of the many forums i visit called having a poo . As you may have guessed its about, well, having a poo lol.

Its really about more then just pooing (or i wouldn’t mention it lol), the writer is experimenting with the weight of his poo’s and the effect dieting has on them (or the effect that dieting has on his poo’s). He has charts and graphs the show his results over the last few weeks and months, and gives a pretty much daily record of his weight before and after each poo.

Now, you can hardly call this scientific, but its all good fun, and most of his post are pretty amusing to read. I’d suggest if you need a giggle visit http://havingapoo.blogspot.com/ and check out the weight of Manleys newest poo :D lol.

Goodwood

Wednesday, July 4th, 2007

Hello everyone,

Its been a while since i’ve posted anything on here, its all been a bit busy at work and at home at the moment, but i’ve managed to steal a few moments to share my recent trip to Goodwood for the festival of speed :D

Now, this was my first time to the event, and i’d heard nothing be good reports on it before, so i was excited to see and hear a load of rare and new cars going up the famous sprint course, as well as the off road course and what turned out to be my favourate, the rally course.

I wont bore you with all the cars that i saw (coz we’d be here all day), but i’ll just go through a couple that i really enjoyed seeing, First would have to be all the F1 cars that went up the sprint course, i’ve been to the British Grand prix before, but this was different. I also stood captivated by the group B rally cars, like the stunning Lancia Delta S4, and the awesome Audi UR Sport.

But the real suprise of the weekend was the new sports car from Audi, The R8. Now i’d heard about the car, and see pictures of it on the net, but in the flesh (or metal) the car looks awesome. Its alot smaller then i thought it was going to be, but it still looks as menacing as it did in the press shots, and boy was it fast, much faster then i thought it was going to be.

Take a look at the Audi site for pics and the stats on the car, Audi R8 page , i think i’ll start saving now, but it might take me a while to save for the 82 thousand pound price tag on the 4.2l R-tronic model lol.
